Service Contracts

BETHESDA REFRIGERATION SERVICE INC.

Let Bethesda Refrigeration Service, Inc. take care of your Heating and Cooling System
Bethesda Refrigeration Service, Inc. offers three levels of preventive maintenance service contracts.
Preventive maintenance:
Reduces your fuel bills
Gives you priority emergency service
Assures you of maximum safety
Prolongs equipment life
Preventive Maintenance Agreement. This is a preventive maintenance agreement only. All necessary repairs or service will be on a time and materials basis. It includes two routine calls covering the Spring and Fall changeovers listed below.
Plan AC: Full year parts and labor warranty.

Clean and Check.......
Two routine calls as below.
Parts Replacement.... Replacement or repair of parts listed below at no additional cost.
Labor Warranty......... Prompt priority emergency service for one full year at no added cost (Emergency service is NO HEAT, or NO A/C for health reasons.)
Covered Parts: Gas valves, standard thermostat, condenser fan motor, blower motor, pilot controls, transformer, high or low pressure control, fan relay, fan blade, fan controls, starting relay, capacitors, ignitors, inducer motor, ignitions control, limit controls and blower wheel.
Plan BC: Full year labor warranty.
Clean and Check.... Two routine calls as below.
Labor Warranty...... Prompt priority emergency service for one full year at no added cost (Emergency service is NO HEAT, or NO A/C for health reasons.)
NOTE: REFRIGERANT REPAIR/LEAK CHECKING/RECHARGING/RECOVERY & DISPOSAL ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THESE CONTRACTS PURSUANT TO THE CLEAN AIR ACT OF 1992. THESE MAY BE DONE FOR ADDITIONAL CHARGES BASED ON TIME AND MATERIALS.

FALL CHANGEOVER TO HEATING
15 POINT FALL SERVICE CHECK
  1. Use gauges to check operating pressures.
  2. Check voltage and amperage to all motors with meter.
  3. Check air temperature drop across evaporator.
  4. Check for adequate refrigerant charge and possible leaks.
  5. Check evaporator.
  6. Lubricate all moving parts as necessary.
  7. Check condensation pump and drain.
  8. Check filters.
  9. Check pressure switch cut-out settings.
  10. Check electrical lock out circuits.
  11. Check starting contactor contacts.
  12. Check all wiring and connections.
  13. Clean and adjust thermostat as necessary.
  14. Check air temperature across condenser.
  15. Check and turn exposed dampers to cooling position, if marked. (No balancing.)
  1. Clean and adjust thermostat as necessary
  2. Clean and adjust all safety controls as necessary.
  3. Clean and check burners and controls as necessary.
  4. Clean and adjust pilot assembly/check electronic ignition as necessary.
  5. Adjust burner for efficiency.
  6. Check for gas leaks in furnace.
  7. Lubricate all moving parts.
  8. Check condensation pump and drain.
  9. Check filters.
  10. Check flue pipe.
  11. Shut down Central Air Conditioner.
  12. Turn exposed dampers to heating position, if marked. (No balancing)
  13. Adjust pressure regulator.
  14. Check that crankcase heater is operating.
  15. Check total performance and operating efficiency of heating system.

ROUTINE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

  1. Maintains high efficiency.
  2. Lengthens equipment life and avoids costly breakdowns.
  3. This plan exceeds the MANUFACTURER’S recommended procedures.
